There used to be a Green's Hotel at the Apollo Bunder, which was purchased by the Taj Mahal Hotel.

In 1973, Green's hotel was demolished and the present Tower wing was constructed on the same spot.

The Gateway Of india is where people flock to especially in the evenings. Crowds throng the place just to enjoy the view, for a chitchat, to take snaps or just admire the architecture.

Photographers, people selling toys or just apna pheriwallas are selling their wares.

Some people though just prefer to loiter around. And be mindful of your expensive cams and wallets.
