Just to put in perspective, without lights she would be sitting like above and without those light garlands it would be even darker.

No one has time

The world is indeed becoming fast. Too fast it would seem.

Every day i see this old woman begging for food. She has grown older over the years as i have.

I also know she will die some day just like me.

Makes me wonder about my own old age.

Will i have someone to care for me, or will the world get even faster and no one will have time to care for their old people.

I wonder what her story is?

Why is this city never caring for its old people? As if we are never going to age!

The old woman sitting under the tree begging for food.

Not everyone's diwali is happy and bright is it?

I saw another shop, this time with light garlands & also lanterns made of cloth.

All of them are so clustered together it looks very bright.

Unfortunately when i was taking these shots, some good for nothing people came and stood around me, talk about Bombay being safe for women!

So i had to boot outta there. :(

It seems there are more kandils than houses. These are the kandils left of day 3 of Diwali.

On top one can se all the ones that grace people's home.

Every year it seems there is more quantity and variation available.
